Understanding Special-Needs Families is Key to Lending a Hand

I’m not going to lie. I am proud of this article on ksl.com. Many of my friends who are raising special needs children weighed in and helped me find the right things to say on this vital topic.

Loved this article, Megan! Thanks for mentioning my sweet mom. She’s often commented on how she would like to do more, but isn’t really sure what would help and what would hinder. I’m glad to know that through sharing her talents, she has been a help! Love you and love your family!

This is a terrific article! Great tips and true life examples that made me reminisce over the last 21 years and the many people who have loved and served our family. Thank you!

Megan, I loved this article and the simplicity it shared of helping special needs families as well as mentioning the support group “Utah Kids” that Syndi K is so dedicated to in order to be a part of the answer!

I am not a special needs parent myself, but I have a passion for helping people with special needs, or as I like to call them “special abilities” and their families. I am a proud supporter of the group Utah Kids and after meeting Syndi and her superhero Isabelle, have chosen to share a portion of all proceeds from my healthy lifestyle business and blog to help fund the Mommy Care packages and any other projects as they come!

    Good luck and God bless!
